Muse Productions was founded in April 2011 by Ted Germaine, Anne Germaine, Martin McNelis and Clare McNelis.
We aim to provide a platform for all types of theatre to be performed in Shannon, with an emphasis on utilising local talent and providing entertainment first and foremost to the people of Shannon.
Ted has been involved with Drama in Shannon from the very beginning, and was instrumental, along with Clare and Martin, in reviving theatre in Shannon previously with “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, with Icarus Players. They followed this production with 5 more years of theatre, including one act plays and full three act plays. Martin directed the production of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and a one act play “Roman Fever”, Clare directed “The Importance of Being Earnest”, and Ted returned to Directorial duties for “Abelard and Heloise”.
With the support of the local community and our sponsors The Shannon Springs Hotel, we mounted many productions in the Oakwood Arms before returning to the refurbished GAA Pavilion, Hope Cafe and St Patricks Comprehensive School for our most recent productions.
