Muse Productions was formed 2011 as a voluntary community organisation with the aim of continuing to provide high-quality dramatic productions for the community of Shannon and surrounding areas, and since 2024 has been organised as a Company Limited by Guarantee.

The key objective of the group is to provide a platform for people of all ages to get involved in drama, with a particular focus on getting young people in drama and the arts, while putting on high quality musical and dramatic performances for the people of Shannon and its’ surrounds.

Muse is a champion of diversity and inclusiveness in the community, with a significant number of members from the LGBTQ+ community.
